Apple has confirmed a special event for September 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, which corresponds to 9 p.m. in Dubai and across the UAE. The presentation will stream through Apple’s website and the Apple TV app. Its event announcement does not itself confirm the names, prices or release dates of the expected phones.

Expected iPhone Prices in Dubai and the UAE

A September 6 report from Khaleej Times estimates that the iPhone 18 Pro could begin at AED 5,099, with the iPhone 18 Pro Max starting at AED 5,549. The same report places Apple’s anticipated foldable iPhone, potentially called the iPhone Ultra, at approximately AED 8,500 to AED 9,800. These are forecasts based on expected international pricing and Apple’s regional pricing patterns.

There is also considerable disagreement between forecasts. UAE technology publication Tbreak estimates a higher AED 5,950–6,350 starting range for the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro Max. For anyone planning a purchase, these numbers are useful as provisional budget ranges. They should not be interpreted as confirmed prices for particular storage capacities, colours or retailer packages.

When Could the New Pro Models Go on Sale in Dubai?

Reports currently point to September 12 for pre-orders and September 18 for retail sales of the new Pro models. However, those dates remain provisional until Apple confirms its UAE launch schedule.

Earlier Gulf News reporting also identified September 18 as a potential sales date, assuming the UAE participates in the initial rollout. The publication explicitly described the timetable as speculative.

The distinction between an announcement and availability matters. Watching a phone being introduced on September 9 does not mean it can be collected from a Dubai shop that evening. Pre-orders, home deliveries and store pickup each require separate confirmation.

Will the Foldable iPhone Arrive in the UAE at the Same Time?
