How to raise one

Send the URL, the sentence you are querying and what you believe the correct fact is, using the contact form. Every request reaches an editor.

What we do

We check the claim against the reporting. If we are wrong we correct the article, add a dated note at the foot of it explaining what changed, and list it on this page. We do not silently edit the record.

How long it takes

We aim to answer within two working days, sooner where the error is material.
