An evening walk in the park, a beach workout with friends or a first attempt at paddleboarding — Dubai residents have plenty of ways to make room for exercise this November. Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026 is bringing free classes, sports and outdoor activities to neighbourhoods across the city, giving people more choice about how and where they get moving.

Running from 31 October to 29 November, the Challenge marks its 10th edition with a familiar goal: complete 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days. This year’s theme, “What’s Your 30x30?”, invites people to choose activities that fit their interests and everyday routines.

The initiative was launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. For 2026, thousands of free classes, workouts and events will welcome residents and visitors of different ages and fitness levels.

With the UAE observing the Year of Family, the programme also gives families more opportunities to spend active time together. Children can explore dedicated play and fitness areas, adults can try a new class, and friends or neighbours can turn exercise into a shared daily plan.

Three Main Villages Offer Different Ways to Get Active

Kite Beach, Zabeel Park and Al Warqa’a Park will host the Challenge’s three main Fitness Villages. Each offers a different setting, from workouts beside the sea to sports courts and running tracks surrounded by greenery.

At Kite Beach, visitors can choose from Pilates, spinning, boxing, martial arts, circuit training and high-intensity workouts. An obstacle course, skate park, water sports and wellness activities add further options. Courts will also be available to book for padel, beach volleyball, cricket, basketball, football and beach soccer.

The village will open from 3 pm to 11 pm on weekdays and from 7 am to 11 pm on weekends throughout the Challenge. Entry is free, with registration required on arrival. Sports courts can be reserved in advance through booking.dubaifitnesschallenge.com.

For those who prefer a central park location, the Zabeel Park village will operate at Gate 2. Daily classes on its main stage will sit alongside dedicated spaces for boxing, MMA, gym workouts, wellness and children’s fitness. Visitors can also book cricket, padel and basketball courts.

Zabeel Park’s opening hours will be 4 pm to 11 pm from Monday to Friday and noon to 11 pm on weekends. The venue will also handle bib and T-shirt collection for Dubai Ride, presented by DP World, from 28 to 31 October.

Al Warqa’a Park offers another option for people who enjoy exercising outdoors. Its 2.8-kilometre running and cycling track provides space for a daily session, while a running club and bike rental hub give visitors more ways to join in.

Open daily from 4 pm to 11 pm, the village will include a children’s fitness area, a ladies-only zone, a mixed-use gym and an obstacle course. Padel, volleyball, football, basketball and tennis courts will also be available to book.

More Than 30 Local Hubs Spread the Activities Across Dubai

Beyond the three villages, more than 30 Fitness Hubs will bring sessions to beaches, residential areas, workplaces and sports venues. This wider network gives participants a chance to find activities closer to home or work.

In Jumeirah Lakes Towers, the programme includes daily workouts, children’s activities, competitions and entertainment. Town Square will offer outdoor exercise, boxing, yoga and Pilates, while the IFZA hub in Dubai Silicon Oasis will add meditation and dance to its fitness sessions.

Families can also explore activities at Wasl Green Park, Wasl Village and Wasl Gate Central Park. Wasl Gate has jogging and cycling tracks as well as a skate park. Meanwhile, Anytime Fitness UAE will run instructor-led, 30-minute sessions at JVC Netball Court, JVC Castle Park and Dubai Science Park.

For people fitting exercise around office hours, Gate Avenue in DIFC will host free daily sessions led by local studios. Dubai Internet City will offer running, yoga, dance, functional training and mindfulness activities.

Beach Sessions, Water Sports and Something New to Try

Several hubs will make use of Dubai’s waterfront locations. At Bluewaters, the SQUATWOLF hub will introduce a Floating Fitness experience with Ain Dubai in the background. Its programme includes cycling, Pilates, strength work, mobility and recovery sessions.

West Beach on Palm Jumeirah will host morning and sunset workouts through Wellfit and Boxica. At Jumeirah 2 Beach, Paddlers Hub UAE will offer kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and Mega SUP sessions for beginners, families and experienced participants.

Those interested in learning a different skill can explore beginner-friendly sailing at Mina Rashid through Wind Rises Sailing. Hatta Wadi Hub, meanwhile, will combine outdoor activities with the mountain setting.

There are indoor options too. HyperFit360 – Pac-Man in Al Quoz will use 360-degree projections for interactive workouts and fitness games. AllSports Arena Dubai will offer coached climbing, HYROX, squash and swimming experiences. At Grand Hyatt Waterpark, children aged five and above can take swimming lessons in the Wave Pool.

Sports Venues Welcome Beginners and Regular Players

Participants who want to learn a sport or improve their skills will have several venues to consider. Danube Sports World will offer activities including badminton, padel, tennis, indoor cricket and football in a climate-controlled setting.

Topgolf Dubai will introduce beginners to golf through guided sessions, while TopSpin Sports Centre will provide tennis and padel coaching for different abilities. JA Sports & Shooting Club will offer professionally coached sessions across several sports.

At Tilal Al Ghaf, the schedule includes more than 90 expert-led fitness sessions, with activities ranging from yoga and strength training to HYROX, Glow Dance and Super Ride.

Finding a Routine Worth Keeping

With so many activities available, participants can use the month to find out what they actually enjoy. One person may prefer a regular evening session near home, while another may use weekends to explore a new sport with family or friends.

The daily commitment remains manageable: 30 minutes of movement. By offering more places to take part and more activities to choose from, Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026 aims to help people find a routine they want to keep beyond 29 November.
